		<description><![CDATA[While The First Universalist Church of Camp Hill was celebrating homecoming Sunday, Oct. 25, B.J. and others in the Taylor family were bringing Barbara Taylor home from Birmingham, where she had undergone open-heart surgery the previous Tuesday. On that day, doctors performed a triple bypass operation to relieve arterial blockage, and her recovery is proceeding as anticipated.

Claude Pepper (1900-1989), a progressive lion of the United States Congress, was born in a sharecropper&#8217;s shack north of Camp Hill and was raised in the area. He would go on to serve the State of Florida in both the Senate and the House of Representatives.
